Every federal trademark application must include a listing of the goods and/or services associated with the mark. The United States Patent & Trademark Office then categorizes these goods and services according to the internationally recognized Nice Classification system. The Nice Classification groups similar goods and services into specific classes, making it easier to organize trademark registrations and to identify potential conflicts with existing marks.
Below, you’ll find a detailed list of the trademark classes for both goods and services, which will help you correctly classify your trademarks and better protect your intellectual property.
